South African motorcycle designer Pierre Terblanche, designer of the infamous Ducati 999, has made a move from Moto Guzzi to the resurrected British Norton motorcycle brand.
Norton announced the news recently, causing quite a stir in the industry. We think its a natural move for the gifted designer, as Norton will benefit immenstly from his expertise.
54 year old Terblanche has moved to the UK to take up his new job as head of product development & design.
Stuart Garner, CEO says “Pierre’s experience of bringing innovative new products to the marketplace will be a vital factor in developing the Norton range, whilst paying due respect to its’ traditions. Combining his flair for original concepts with Norton’s sporting traditions, will allow us to create a range of motorcycles bearing the historic Norton badge that will be unlike anything else in the marketplace."
